The SHF fax-decoding board can re-enact fax images from fax-communication processes that have been recorded into audio files. This board can be used as an add-on for digital voice-recording systems.
The decoding process is basically carried out by DSP algorithm. While CPU host-load is low, decoding rate is independent of processor speed.
Support decoding at quadruple rate or 4 channels at real-time.
Support V.17 14400 12000, V.29 9600 7200, V.27 4800 2400 modulation, and support one-dimensional and two-dimensional programming mode; Decode most nonstandard faxes.
Super low signal-to-noise ratio, 9600-14400=18dB,7200=15dB, 2400-4800=12dB, i.e. basically no error codes in decoding.
Very large dynamic range: accurate decoding for range between -30dB and 0dB.
Automatic search for start of fax: accurately identifies fax page amongst jumbled voice and fax signals.
