The SHD Series, an open-access framework, delivers developers and integrators a new level of flexibility while reducing total lifecycle costs. The SHD series is available in either PCI or cPCI form factors, and satisfies both rich media processing and digital PSTN interface needs in a wide range of voice and signaling applications.
With in-house powerful signaling processing package, SHD series products combine a variety of superior signaling capabilities and can be easily configured among DSS1, ISDN and SS7 signaling to be compatible with most telephony environments worldwide. In addition, with special signaling-irrelative call handling functions, Synway's in-house unified API makes switching of different signaling systems possible, eliminating the need to modify source code and hardware circuits.
Committed to combining voice, signaling, conference and fax in a single board, SHD series adopts the latest DSP architecture with unique algorithm to differentiate SHD processing capabilities from substitutes. Building on the latest DSP architecture across the whole series, SHD delivers increased processing power, more efficient power management, and digital network interface (softwareselectable E1/T1 network interfaces are available to eliminate multiple hardware platforms)
1, 2, 4, 8,16E1/T1 digital interfaces in a single slot for connection to PSTN, voice processing, conferencing, FSK communications (1200 bits/s and 2400 bits/s), HDLC communication capabilities, as well as 1~16 SS7 signaling links on a single board.
Boards with cPCI interface supports high-availability for maintenance and replacement during system run time, with over 99.99% availability in high capacity.
Support: A-law, u-law and IMA ADPCM format, record/playback of Windows WAV file, tone generation/reception/detection for signals, FSK receiver/transmitter, HLDC processing, adaptive echo cancellation, barge-in functionality.
Built-in conference resource in each port, support conference recording and monitoring; DTMF filtering to eliminate DTMF signal in conference, and can be configured as interactive teleconferencing without limit on the number of conferees and conferences in multiparties.
Efficient management of DSP resources minimizes host overhead and maximizes host processing time for applications; DSP-based voice, DTMF/MF and call process analysis ensure application reliability.
International DSS1, ISDN and SS7 supported: SHD supports ISDN PRI, DSS1, QSIG, CORNET, MTP, TUP, ISUP, SCCP, TCAP, and include functions such as multi-DPC application, multi-link group and hot backup, changeback and changeover.
Universal port capability supports conference, fax, voice and signaling processing and built-in SHD Series functions to ensure scalability, compatibility, and high performance to leverage developer time and application investment.
Simplify system development and deployment efforts; protocol-independent open access interface for DSS1, ISDN and SS7; support polling and event-driven modes, and feature-rich software development kits support Windows® and Linux®.
16~80 channels of DSP based Group 3 FAX resources available, transmission speed up to 14400bps; support .TIF file; Fax transmission of all kinds of printable files, easily viewed and printable; Fax capability is software configurable.
Full-speed H.100/H.110 bus with 4,096 timeslots supports interoperability with other H.100/H.110 boards in open-architecture, high-capacity systems, and hierarchical switching model improves system and application scalability.
Up to 8 boards per system (PCI boards with upto 80E1 and cPCI with up to 128E1).
